ROOM 1 VALUES and HANDS OF GOALS

During week 4 Room created hands to display the goals they wished to achieve in 2016. As a class we looked at identifying learning goals and personal goals which included sports, school contribution, behaviour, and leadership goals. The hands are displayed high in the class as a reminder that we will work together to achieve all our goals. We need to see the goals so we can achieve our goals. Our school has 4 key values "RESPECT" "TOLERANCE""COOPERATION"and "PERSEVERANCE" as a class we wanted to use mind maps to display what we thought our school values should be in class and around the school.

During Week 3 the class wanted to show and display what we thought leadership in the school and around the world meant to us as a class. During our reading lessons we learnt about non continuous texts a focusing on the lay out and how fonts, text boxes, and diagrams are used to show and display information. As a class we created our own non continuous texts with the heading "LEADERS" What a great lesson with a very colourful and informative out come.
